Canyonlands National Park

Canyonlands was our first stop. There are three different sections. The north end is the "Island in the Sky" because it sits at a much higher elevation and the Green River and the Colorado River join at the southern tip, creating huge canyons and giving impressive views.

These pictures remind me of "Against a Crooked Sky" where the kid has to race the sun through the canyon and climb the cliff. Has anyone else seen it or am I really that old?
